Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy backend services, APIs, and platform components.
- Build and maintain platform infrastructure with a serverless architecture.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineering and product teams to design backend interfaces.
- Build backend logic for clinical trial accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
- Develop frontend components using React as needed for full-stack feature delivery.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues with root cause analysis.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to platform evolution.
- Mentor team members on backend best practices and system design.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of building and scaling backend systems and APIs.
- Deep expertise in at least one backend programming language, preferably Python.
- Understanding of full-stack development, including frontend frameworks.
