Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy backend services, APIs, and platform components for Condor’s financial cloud.
- Build and maintain platform infrastructure using a serverless architecture.
- Design backend interfaces integrating with LLM-based agents, retrieval systems, and automated reasoning workflows.
- Develop backend logic for clinical trial accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting workflows.
- Build frontend components and interfaces with React as needed for full-stack feature delivery.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term architectural improvements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code according to internal standards and best practices.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning for platform evolution and scalability.
- Mentor team members on backend best practices, system design, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience building and scaling backend systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
- Deep expertise in at least one backend programming language, with Python preferred and Go or other languages accepted.
- Experience with associated backend frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Understanding of full-stack development and frontend frameworks.
- Preferred: strong Python proficiency and Django or Flask experience.
- Preferred: TypeScript and React experience.
- Preferred: experience integrating backend services with LLM-based systems such as OpenAI or Anthropic Claude.
- Preferred: experience building agentic AI workflows or AI-powered automation features.
