Responsibilities

  • Develop scripts and tools to support custom network automation and orchestration projects.
  • Help deliver automation solutions for Nokia’s IP networking and Data Center customers as part of a professional services team.
  • Work closely with a senior team member on tools and scripting tasks.
  • Learn about Nokia’s Data Center Solution and gain hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer, Software, or Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field at an accredited Canadian school.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts through coursework, projects, or practical experience.
  • Comfort working with Linux operating systems and experience with Java and programming concepts.
  • Experience with Bash, Perl, and Python scripting.
  • Experience using Power BI for dashboard creation, reporting, or data visualization.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and data-accuracy skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Preferred qualifications include SQL or similar data analysis and automation tools, Power Automate, workflow or operational process experience, software development internship, co-op, academic project, or consulting experience, and exposure to forecasting, demand planning, business reporting, AI-driven analytics, automation, or predictive modeling.
