Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop synthetic workload queries and datasets for testing DPA-S.
- Build diagnostic and analysis tools for DPA-S, Apache Spark, and deployment-environment logs.
- Handle or escalate customer support issues as part of the product support rotation.
- Conduct end-to-end product validation and execute test plans collaboratively.
- Analyze validation and customer-issue artifacts to identify tuning opportunities, usage recommendations, and product bugs.
- Use automation and AI techniques throughout product validation and support.
- Create bug reports, root-cause analysis documents, configuration guides, and best-practice documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in development, validation, and support of enterprise data-processing software products.
- 2+ years of direct support experience with external customers.
- 2+ years supporting Apache Spark pipelines for data engineering and analytics, including Spark jobs, resource provisioning, parameter configuration and tuning, Spark History Server, Spark UI, and Spark logs.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Proficiency in testing data products and test automation.
- Understanding of deployment and operations for cloud-based data-processing products and pipelines across SaaS, VM-based, container-based, and serverless environments.
- Experience with GCP, AWS, and their Apache Spark-related offerings is preferred.
- Good customer engagement and communication skills.
