Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop synthetic workload queries and datasets that represent customer environments and workloads for DPA-S testing.
- Build diagnostic and analysis tools for DPA-S, Apache Spark, and deployment-environment logs.
- Participate in product support rotations by addressing or escalating external customer issues.
- Define, review, and execute end-to-end product validation test plans.
- Analyze validation artifacts and customer issues to identify configuration tuning opportunities, usage recommendations, and product bugs.
- Use automation and AI throughout product validation and customer support processes.
- Create bug reports, root-cause analysis documents, configuration guides, and best-practice documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in development, validation, and support of enterprise data-processing software products.
- At least 2 years of direct support experience with external customers.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting Apache Spark pipelines for data engineering and analytics, including Spark job execution, resource provisioning, parameter configuration and tuning, Spark History Server and Spark UI usage, and log analysis.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Proficiency in testing data products and test automation.
- Understanding of cloud deployment and operations for data-processing products and pipelines across SaaS, VM-based, container-based, and serverless scenarios.
- Experience with GCP, AWS, and their Apache Spark-related offerings is preferred.
- Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
