Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, configure, administer, and operate core data platform infrastructure and services.
- Manage production Airflow and Superset environments.
- Create and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code for data platform components.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments.
- Implement platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Develop data models with dbt and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
- Write Python for platform automation and data processing.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for CJIS clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of advanced Python programming experience.
- Expertise deploying and administering Apache Airflow.
- Strong experience deploying and managing Apache Superset or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Expertise with AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI, including IAM, networking, and managed services.
- Infrastructure-as-code proficiency and production experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
- Experience with dbt, OpenMetadata, SQL, data modeling, data security, and compliance requirements.
- Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, cybersecurity data experience, open-source contributions, and knowledge of machine learning pipelines.
