Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance secure, scalable web applications, APIs, and enterprise solutions using .NET, modern web technologies, and Microsoft Azure.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, application architectures, integrations, data solutions, and high-level technical blueprints.
- Connect enterprise systems, databases, third-party tools, RESTful APIs, cloud services, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM while maintaining data integrity and accessibility.
- Provide application monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support for critical citywide applications.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests, participate in quality assurance activities, conduct code reviews, and uphold reliability, maintainability, performance, and functionality standards.
- Apply secure development practices and ensure compliance with security accreditation, data protection, and enterprise technology requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, system roadmaps, source code repositories, and deployment procedures; gather user feedback and provide training and application support.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field, plus two years of satisfactory full-time software experience, including one year as a project leader or major contributor on a complex project.
- Alternatively, a four-year high school diploma or equivalent plus six years of satisfactory full-time software experience, including one year as a project leader or major contributor on a complex project.
- Strong application development, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially, collaborate with IT staff and end users, adapt to evolving technologies, and maintain attention to detail.
