Base Salary
$124k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture for cloud networking, including orchestration, provisioning, and security solutions.
- Design innovative system architectures for DPU and NIC technologies.
- Build end-to-end solutions from the application level through hardware.
- Write clear, effective, and reliable architecture specifications.
- Evaluate new technologies and rapidly develop proof-of-concept prototypes for future products and solutions.
- Collaborate with global software and hardware architects, R&D, product, solution, application, and field engineering teams.
- Work with customers on advanced and future technologies and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience as a software architect or system architect.
- At least two years of experience as a software developer.
- Deep knowledge of C and Python.
- Hands-on Linux development experience with Docker and container-based technologies.
- Experience with cloud and data-center networking, networking protocols, and common network topologies.
- Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work concurrently with multiple local and international groups.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Preferred: experience developing networking or security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, or firewalls; knowledge of operating systems and drivers; experience with DPDK, OVS, OVN, Kubernetes components, CRDs, operators, system plugins, CNI plugin development, Calico, Flannel, OpenStack, OpenShift, or cloud APIs.
