Base Salary
$168k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve backend services that detect and prevent fraud.
- Develop enforcement and response tooling for identity locks and payment freezes.
- Improve protections against account takeover through monitoring and controls.
- Design and operate systems with strong observability metrics and dashboards.
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen authentication and identity foundations.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of technical design, implementation, and iteration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals including APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience building data-informed detection or decisioning systems.
- Proven ability to operate production systems and improve on-call quality.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
