Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new integrations and tools on the North agentic platform.
- Maintain integrations already in production.
- Own the integration pipeline from design through shipping and ongoing maintenance.
- Help engineers add integrations and improve the team’s integration practices.
- Create evaluations and tests to verify integrations and detect regressions.
- Tune tool descriptions to improve performance using feedback and evaluation results.
- Use AI actively while remaining accountable for the quality and reliability of shipped work.
Requirements
- Experience shipping production code and building integrations against external APIs.
- Experience evaluating agentic systems is ideal; alternatively, familiarity with evaluations, prompt engineering, and tool-description tuning is acceptable.
- Ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated high agency, quick learning, and ability to drive change independently.
- Prior end-to-end ownership and strong concern for production quality and reliability.
- Enjoyment of helping other engineers succeed.
