Base Salary
$162k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert and lead for customer-facing API and B2B eProcurement integrations.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex API integrations and B2B punchout solutions, including authentication, data mapping, error handling, monitoring, and go-live support.
- Own integration standards, design patterns, scalability blueprints, operating procedures, documentation, playbooks, API specifications, and troubleshooting frameworks.
- Partner with Product and IBT leadership to shape the API and Punchout product roadmap and prioritize enhancements and refactoring.
- Translate customer IT, procurement, and scientific requirements into API intake and data-mapping specifications.
- Direct integrations across Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba, Oracle/PeopleSoft, and cXML, OCI, and EDI protocols.
- Coordinate customers, third-party middleware providers, and internal stakeholders to align integration standards and mitigate delivery risks.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for complex onboarding and critical integration issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in business systems analysis, technical integrations, solution architecture, or technical delivery.
- Staff-level or lead-level experience as a technical authority or individual contributor influencing cross-functional teams.
- Customer-facing experience in integrations, technical product management, solution architecture, systems engineering, or related technical delivery.
- Experience with APIs, web services, authentication methods, B2B eProcurement platforms, and integration formats including JSON and XML.
- Ability to manage multiple complex, parallel technical implementations without direct management oversight.
- Strong communication, customer collaboration, technical translation, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience as a Technical Product Manager, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- Preferred experience working with enterprise Sales or Customer Success teams and with Salesforce.com, SAP ERP, or SAP CRM.
Benefits
- California base salary range of $162,000-$209,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and a benefits package.
- Occasional travel to customer sites is required as needed.
