Responsibilities
- Create, modify, analyze, implement, support, and optimize Boston Workstation scripts for MEDITECH Magic EHR automation.
- Provide technical leadership for scripting solutions and support Promoting Interoperability regulatory requirements.
- Define requirements, design functional solutions, resolve issues, and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Review, escalate, and resolve issues reported by internal and hospital teams.
- Author and analyze change requests and maintain solution, process, and best-practice documentation.
- Provide training to junior team members on interface functionality.
- Support and maintain reports and extracts and participate in after-hours and on-call support.
- Collaborate with business operations, IT&S leadership, project teams, and vendors.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including the ability to assess technical risks and recommend solutions.
- Experience reviewing and understanding basic scripting concepts and debugging complex scripting logic.
- Ability to translate manual processes into logical, step-by-step automated procedures.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and processes while adhering to HCA security standards.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Preferred experience with Boston Workstation Scripting or other scripting tools such as UiPath.
- Preferred knowledge of the MEDITECH Magic clinical system and its screen design.
- Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
