Base Salary
$124k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Workday deployments in air-gapped U.S. AWS cloud regions.
- Develop and maintain deployment tools and analytics for deployment flexibility and cost savings.
- Design, code, debug, document, and support programs, operating systems, deployments, databases, utilities, and network-related tools.
- Build and operate automation and orchestration frameworks across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with commercial software engineering and Federal Cyber Defense teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience deploying large-scale, complex applications, including at least 3 years of cloud-based deployments on AWS or GCP.
- At least 2 years of experience with automation tools and languages including Ansible, Python, Go, Chef, and Puppet, plus proficiency in CI/CD, build management, and monitoring.
- At least 2 years of experience with networks, servers, storage, and operating systems in cloud environments.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
- U.S. citizenship is required for personnel working on the federal contracts.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
- Preferred DoD 8570/8140 compliance with at least IAT Level II certification, a current Computing Environment credential, and an approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
- Preferred experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Unix/Linux, Python scripting, network troubleshooting, tcpdump, Jira, and production deployment orchestration frameworks.
Benefits
- Annualized base salary for the primary Reston, Virginia location is $137,000-$205,400, with additional U.S. location ranges listed separately.
- May be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
- Flexible work model requiring at least 50% of each quarter in the office or field, with remote home-office options and opportunities for office gatherings.
- May require on-site work at client locations in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
