Responsibilities
- Develop and complete automated and manual test plans and test cases using functional, negative, regression, customer/end-user, performance, reliability, and usability testing strategies.
- Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent testing projects and tasks.
- Reproduce, troubleshoot, triage, report, and drive software defects to closure.
- Build test cases and plans for new dGPU and APU features and products and for Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Identify metrics and measurements for the software QA development cycle and improve their efficiency.
- Collaborate with software development teams and project engineers and contribute ideas for process improvement.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Canada-based university bachelor’s degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge or experience with software quality analysis processes and methodologies is encouraged.
- Knowledge of PC software and hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and PC platform architecture is encouraged.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, VBA, C++, or Selenium is encouraged.
- Interest in PC gaming, computer graphics, 3D graphics, gaming, VR, MR, display technologies, multimedia, and compute is encouraged.
- Exposure to development, triaging, or debugging in Linux or Windows is encouraged.
- Exposure to databases and reporting tools is encouraged.

- 12-month co-op/intern term from May 3, 2027 to April 21, 2028, or 16-month term from May 3, 2027 to August 18, 2028.
- Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the term.
