Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify application source code, bug fixes, enhancements, and GUI improvements.
- Design and develop REST APIs and maintain software libraries, module APIs, code organization, and coding standards.
- Integrate externally developed code and software into core libraries and Sponsor applications.
- Deploy, install, configure, and maintain applications across Sponsor networks and cloud environments.
- Develop software involving audio/video, image-processing algorithms, operating systems, file systems, and device drivers.
- Conduct testing throughout the SDLC, including regression testing and software acceptance support.
- Track software issues using tools such as JIRA and provide software availability and reliability metrics.
- Support Agile development practices, configuration management coordination, and operational reliability.
- Evaluate third-party vendors and software partners.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with an FS polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience within the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated experience with at least 3 of .NET, Visual Basic, Java, JavaScript, Tomcat, SQL, XML, Python, HTML, LDAP certificates, Apache, and Ruby.
- Experience supporting full-lifecycle Agile software development projects.
- Experience using software issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Preferred experience developing Android applications and designing, developing, or maintaining applications in AWS or Sponsor cloud environments.
- Preferred working knowledge of GIS software, including Google Maps and Google Earth.
- Preferred experience with continuous software development, software integration, DevOps lifecycle practices, automated deployments, compliance scanning, and test-driven development.
- Preferred experience with INFOSEC and IA policies, including ICD 503.
