Responsibilities
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
- Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research-scientist experts to resolve issues and improve product image quality.
- Design, develop, maintain, test, deploy, document, and troubleshoot scalable software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested code following software engineering standards and best practices.
- Learn synthetic aperture radar and electro-optical collection techniques.
- Plan and complete software development tasks independently within a team environment.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field; four years of professional software or signals-processing experience, or qualifying military electronic-warfare/signals-processing background, may substitute for the degree.
- Familiarity with a programming language, preferably Python, C++, Rust, or similar.
- Familiarity with Linux development and/or cloud environments, with AWS preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, and independent task-completion abilities.
- Interest in learning remote-sensing technologies and ability to work onsite.
- Preferred qualifications include multiple programming languages, radar or electro-optical experience, academic digital signal processing experience, Jira experience, Scrum/Agile development knowledge, and software implementation of algorithms.
