Responsibilities
- Augment existing toolsets to meet mission requirements.
- Derive, document, and analyze technical requirements aligned with mission objectives.
- Build prototypes to demonstrate requirements understanding and validate concepts.
- Develop deployable CNO toolsets that operate within mission constraints.
- Test and oversee testing of toolsets for release and deployment readiness.
- Provide support for fielded software systems.
- Collaborate with analysts, operators, data scientists, and software engineers to provide tactical mission support.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Have 12 years of experience with a B.S. degree or 10 years of experience with an M.S. degree; four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- Have familiarity with Unix-based systems and experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
- Be proficient in producing and modifying software systems in C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
- Have familiarity with Git, Subversion, Jira, and Confluence.
- Have experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
- Preferred qualifications include reverse engineering Windows or embedded/RTOS platforms, experience with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, or Rust, CNO software development, vulnerability research, exploit development, and SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
