Base Salary
$90k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain large-scale, high-frequency, low-latency applications.
- Gather requirements with product management and provide estimates, high-level designs, and detailed designs.
- Develop and support applications using Java, Python, RESTful APIs, JDBC/Hibernate/JPA, and messaging technologies.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and automated build and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to deliver software.
- Integrate security, code quality, coverage, and unit-testing practices into CI/CD processes.
- Complete security scans and support PCI/PII data masking and data-encryption reviews before production deployment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practices.
- Ensure code is structured, maintainable, and high quality.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Java, Python, RESTful APIs, JDBC/Hibernate/JPA, and messaging technologies including Kafka, MQ, or JMS.
- 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot or an equivalent framework and microservices architecture.
- 4+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies and highly available, scalable architectures.
- 4+ years of experience with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience includes financial services or payments, test-driven development, Splunk, Dynatrace, JIRA, Confluence, event-based architecture, analytics and performance monitoring, Agile software product development lifecycles, and security tools such as Voltage, Sonatype, Web Inspect, and Fortify.

- Salary ranges are $90,000 to $144,000 for employees in New Jersey and New York; ranges may differ in other states.
- The role is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity or commissions.
- Employment offers are contingent on standard background checks, with additional government background checks possible for applicable contracts.
