Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend software solutions using C# and .NET.
- Design and maintain APIs, backend services, integrations, and event-driven solutions on AWS using Lambda, SQS, and S3.
- Extend existing integrations and own new integrations supporting the company’s document automation product.
- Design relational database schemas and data models and contribute to scalable, maintainable architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Improve development practices, architecture, tooling, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
- Strong commercial experience building backend services and APIs with C# and .NET.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs with .NET, preferably .NET 10.
- Experience with relational database schemas and data models, preferably AWS RDS or Amazon Aurora MySQL.
- Experience with event-driven solutions using Amazon SQS, S3, and AWS Lambda.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and tooling, including MCP servers, structured prompting, and AI tools and skills.
- Experience integrating workspace APIs, preferably Microsoft Graph and Google Gmail APIs.
- Experience with server-side document generation and modification using Aspose or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of API design principles and integration patterns.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft 365 services, Google Workspace services, macOS application development, and integrations across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace ecosystems.
