Responsibilities
- Participate in software development and software validation as a member of an agile team.
- Analyze software requirements and prepare software design documentation.
- Develop object-oriented Python modules hosted in an AWS cloud environment.
- Participate in software validation, acceptance, and test automation.
- Develop methods and tools to monitor P&WC ground station data-processing performance.
- Study continuous improvements for in-service engine data-processing software and prepare standardized procedure and training documentation.
Requirements
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university for the entire duration of the internship.
- Be able to work exclusively on-site in Longueuil, Quebec.
- Be pursuing studies in computer science, software development, or aerospace.
- Have excellent spoken and written English and French communication skills.
- Have experience developing applications in Python using Git for source code control.
- Organizational skills, ability to handle competing priorities, self-learning ability, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills are assets.
- Advanced Python and Excel skills are assets.
- Successfully complete a criminal background check and obtain required clearances for handling and transferring controlled goods.
