Responsibilities
- Lead complex, broad-impact systems operations initiatives and provide high-level systems consultation.
- Participate in large-scale planning for computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Review technical challenges and escalated support issues, evaluating alternatives, enhancements, and system improvements.
- Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements and consult on change designs and technical process controls.
- Collaborate with technical peers and managers to resolve systems support issues.
- Support Java and Spring Boot production systems, perform root cause analysis, and use Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Lead production operations, incident management, and system reliability activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of systems engineering or technology architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring, including Spring Boot, supporting production systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effective root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading production operations, incident management, and system reliability.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions and drive resolution.
- Proven expertise in RESTful services and microservices architecture.
