Responsibilities
- Drive AI-first engineering practices and apply LLMs, Copilot, RAG architectures, and automation to development, testing, and modernization.
- Define architecture and evolve enterprise platforms toward API-first, event-driven, modular, scalable, and maintainable systems.
- Own and deliver complex features from design through production rollout across backend and frontend layers.
- Build and modernize AngularJS/Angular and C#/.NET applications, including Web APIs, WebHooks, background processing, and data layers.
- Improve code quality, testing, performance, production readiness, logging, monitoring, diagnostics, and observability.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across services, APIs, and data systems.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads and establish reusable engineering patterns, frameworks, and standards.
- Influence technical decisions across multiple teams and act as a bridge between feature teams, platform teams, and leadership.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with significant hands-on development and architecture responsibilities.
- Proven experience delivering complex enterprise features at scale and designing, building, and modernizing enterprise platforms.
- Principal Engineer or Lead Architect-level technical contribution and strong cross-team influence.
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled development practices, including Copilot, LLM integrations, and automation.
- Strong problem-solving ability across full-stack systems, including debugging and optimization.
- Deep experience with AngularJS or modern Angular, C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
- Experience with Windows Services, WebJobs, asynchronous processing, WebHooks, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration layers.
- Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and diagnostics frameworks such as ELMAH or equivalent.
- Experience applying AI/ML techniques, using LLMs and prompt-driven systems, and building or applying RAG architectures.
- Preferred experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Azure, GCP, microservices, containerization, DevOps practices, distributed systems, and integration-heavy architectures.
- Strong communication, leadership, systems thinking, scalability, long-term architecture, and mentorship capabilities.
