Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of AI-first engineering practices, including LLMs, Copilot, RAG architectures, and intelligent automation.
- Define architecture and evolve enterprise platforms toward API-first, event-driven, modular, scalable systems.
- Own and deliver complex features end to end across backend and frontend layers.
- Modernize .NET and AngularJS applications and improve code quality, testing, performance, production readiness, logging, monitoring, and diagnostics.
- Design and enhance Web APIs, WebHooks, background processing, data exchange, and integration layers.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across services, APIs, and data layers.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads and establish reusable engineering patterns and standards.
- Influence technical decisions across multiple teams and advise engineering and product leadership.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant hands-on development and architecture responsibilities.
- Proven experience delivering complex enterprise features at scale and modernizing enterprise platforms.
- Experience operating at a Principal Engineer or Lead Architect level with organization-wide technical influence.
- Strong hands-on experience with AngularJS or modern Angular, C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
- Experience with Windows Services, WebJobs, asynchronous processing, WebHooks, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration architectures.
- Experience applying AI/ML techniques, LLMs, prompt-driven systems, RAG architectures, or AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot.
- Ability to debug and optimize full-stack systems and improve scalability, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and cross-team influence skills.
- Preferred experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Azure, GCP, microservices, containerization, DevOps practices, distributed systems, and integration-heavy architectures.
