Software Engineering LMTS - Backend Distributed Systems
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices and AI development tools.
- Design and orchestrate complex, scalable systems in which AI agents integrate with human workflows.
- Make architectural and design decisions focused on performance, scalability, and extensibility.
- Contribute to design, implementation, code reviews, automation, testing, and other phases of the SDLC.
- Build efficient components and algorithms in a multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment.
- Maintain shared system-context documentation covering system designs, constraints, and standards.
- Evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across the team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development and large-scale system design.
- Strong foundations in object-oriented design, distributed systems, and scalable architecture.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Scala, C#, Go, Node.js, or C++.
- Experience developing SaaS applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, Trino, Redshift, or MongoDB, plus solid SQL skills.
- Experience with queues, locking, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices and demonstrated technical leadership.
