Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Node.js applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor development team members.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and drive architecture best practices.
- Support system integrations, performance, security, code quality, production issue resolution, release planning, and platform modernization.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver roadmap initiatives.
- Contribute to Agile planning, estimation, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of Node.js development experience.
- Strong expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with TypeScript, AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience supporting customer-facing applications in Agile environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
