Responsibilities
- Design and develop Python applications within a large monorepo using proprietary workflows.
- Build graph-based data pipelines for valuation adjustment calculations and risk analysis.
- Implement independent price verification and valuation adjustment workflows across asset classes.
- Develop consensus pricing solutions integrating with external market data providers.
- Configure distributed compute, job scheduling, analytics integrations, and cloud storage pipelines.
- Write and maintain unit, baseline, parameterized, integration, and regression tests.
- Investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities and support audit remediation efforts.
- Operate production systems using dry-run-first, confirm-before-modify, and audit-everything practices.
- Design and maintain AI developer tooling involving prompt engineering and LLM-assisted code generation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, including type annotations, context managers, generators, and functional programming patterns.
- Knowledge of Python 3 is advantageous.
- Experience with test-driven or test-heavy development and unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to build and maintain multi-stage graph-based, batch, or streaming data pipelines.
- Understanding of security best practices, input validation, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with agentic AI, prompt engineering, LLM-based developer agents, and workflow orchestration.
- Preferred experience includes financial services, derivatives pricing, market data, valuation concepts, distributed compute, job scheduling, Databricks, Delta Lake, or reactive and event-driven programming.
