Senior Site Reliability Engineer- Remote

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, secure, highly available systems for ClickHouse
- Establish and manage service-level objectives and service-level agreements for ClickHouse Cloud
- Implement monitoring and alerting across Dataplane, Control Plane, and ClickHouse Core infrastructure
- Improve incident response and outage postmortem processes, including blameless postmortems and customer communication
- Continuously improve ClickHouse service reliability and performance
- Plan and drive chaos engineering initiatives across engineering teams
- Manage on-call processes and escalation best practices to resolve reliability and performance issues and minimize downtime
- Develop software platforms and tools to improve operational and engineering efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field
- Previous production experience using ClickHouse
- Hands-on experience with Go and/or Python
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of distributed databases and SQL, particularly ClickHouse
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet
- Strong production debugging and problem-solving skills
- Passion for efficiency, availability, scalability, and data governance
- Strong ownership, accountability, communication, and interpersonal skills
