Responsibilities
- Support IT and software projects throughout their lifecycle with DevOps engineering expertise.
- Design and implement customer-specific solutions and architectures for the regulated financial services sector.
- Realize infrastructure setups and support software development lifecycles in customer environments.
- Automate development and operations processes and build CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to quality assurance through reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Manage databases, system monitoring, and administration across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Use AI tools in the field and advise customers on opportunities to apply AI.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of practical DevOps engineering experience.
- Prior project experience with banks, insurers, or other organizations in the regulated financial services sector.
- Proficiency with DevOps technologies for on-premises or cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration, including tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Experience automating development and operations processes and working with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps and GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of database management, system monitoring, and administration.
- Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python and basic knowledge of object-oriented programming such as Java or C++.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
