Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, configure, and integrate automated systems and applications.
- Create custom automation solutions and implement improvements that produce measurable revenue or quality results.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts and lead or perform test execution for project and support activities.
- Build resilient continuous integration and delivery automation pipelines.
- Troubleshoot complex systems, resolve escalated client issues, and optimize automation performance against contracted KPIs.
- Provide technical direction and training to junior engineers and participate in functional design and code reviews.
- Audit lab processes, identify additional automation opportunities, and document automation and development processes.
- Plan testing resources, prepare automation-related reports, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a similar field.
- Developing proficiency maintaining automation systems or applications and an understanding of programming and software development.
- Moderate demonstrated experience with robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
- Moderate demonstrated project management experience.
- Moderate programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, or C#.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to troubleshoot technology, perform complex system tests, and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
