Base Salary
$466k - $750k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build a centralized context layer that provides grounded, team-specific knowledge to AI agents.
- Design and implement agentic workflows for code generation, automated test creation, pull-request pre-review, and deployment validation.
- Build AI-powered operational workflows for incident triage, log and metric correlation, root-cause analysis, and guided resolution.
- Develop coordinated multi-agent workflows for implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Standardize AI development environments and drive team-wide adoption through pairing sessions, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and feedback loops.
- Integrate AI into software development and operational workflows, including automated pull-request review, test generation, and deployment validation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of significant focus on applied AI systems.
- Proven experience building and deploying production agentic AI systems, including agent architectures, tool integration, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience setting up AI infrastructure for end-to-end software development workflows, including AI coding assistants, context engineering, and automated testing.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production-grade systems.
- Deep experience with retrieval-augmented generation, document indexing, embedding strategies, retrieval pipelines, and grounding techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and/or JVM languages.
- Ability to drive technical adoption across a team through pairing, architecture reviews, trust-building, and demonstrating value.
- Prior experience as a first or early AI engineer is preferred.
- Familiarity with context engineering, tool use or function calling, structured outputs, multi-agent coordination, and evaluation or hill-climbing methodologies is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI into CI/CD pipelines and building operational tooling for incident response, log analysis, and diagnostics is preferred.

- Annual salary range of $466,000.00–$750,000.00, with compensation offered through salary and stock options and no bonuses.
