Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and functional maps into technical designs and frameworks.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and code, and contribute hands-on development when required.
- Validate development builds and provide early feedback to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Develop and support Java and Spring Boot applications using messaging, integration, web, and database technologies.
- Support production teams in resolving issues and provide tools that improve their productivity.
- Collaborate with Agile team members to deliver business value.
- Guide and mentor junior developers on the Java/J2EE technology stack.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience developing applications with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with messaging and integration middleware such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and micro front ends.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
- Hands-on experience with Agile development process tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
- Experience with SVN and Git version control.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, Docker containers, and Kubernetes deployment.
- Understanding of payment systems, real-time capabilities, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployment is preferred.
