Responsibilities

Design, build, optimize, and maintain production-grade ML pipelines, tooling, visualisation, frameworks, and data engineering workflows.
Turn prototype trading models into production-ready systems in collaboration with quantitative research teams.
Develop and integrate low-latency, performance-critical components across Python and modern C++.
Help shape the architecture of scalable strategy software while keeping trading latency low.
Build reliable tooling and clean, maintainable Python code alongside high-performance C++ components.

Degree in a quantitative or technical subject such as Machine Learning, Maths, Physics, or Computer Science from a top university.
Strong software engineering background in Python and solid expertise in modern C++23.
Experience building, optimizing, and integrating low-latency performance-critical components in a hybrid Python/C++ environment.
Strong experience designing and maintaining ML pipelines and data engineering workflows.
Familiarity with containerisation using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and automated testing.
Comfort working in a Linux environment.
Preferred qualifications include advanced Python data engineering, dataframe optimization, ML techniques and frameworks, production model deployment and monitoring, scientific computing, and high-performance computing.

Hybrid working with Thursdays in the London Farringdon office and flexible working for the rest of the week.
