Responsibilities
- Lead ServiceNow platform modernization by migrating global and legacy applications to scoped, upgrade-safe solutions.
- Convert legacy workflows to Flow Designer and establish reusable automation patterns using Flows, Subflows, Actions, and event-driven architecture.
- Drive AI-assisted development through Now Assist, Build Agent, and other AI capabilities while governing AI-generated code and responsible AI practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications using ServiceNow platform components.
- Implement enterprise integrations using REST APIs, MID Server, Import Sets, and IntegrationHub.
- Deliver engineering excellence through CI/CD, source control, automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, standards, and documentation.
Requirements
- 12+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including at least 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform development and architecture experience.
- Experience modernizing ServiceNow platforms by migrating Global Applications to Scoped Applications and converting Legacy Workflows to Flow Designer.
- Strong expertise in App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, Workspace development, and JavaScript/ServiceNow scripting.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, MID Server, Import Sets, and IntegrationHub.
- Deep understanding of AI-assisted development, upgrade-safe development, platform governance, and ServiceNow engineering best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and relevant CIS certifications are desirable.
- Experience with large-scale ServiceNow modernization, ATF, CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps implementations, and AI-assisted development adoption is desirable.
