Responsibilities
- Build, refine, tune, and maintain real-time infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and maintain services for data collection and real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to design and build data products.
- Work with the DevOps team to scale and optimize infrastructure.
- Participate in architecture discussions, influence the roadmap, and own new projects.
- Mentor developers through knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond when issues arise.
Requirements
- Minimum four years of software engineering experience.
- Two or more years of experience or fluency in Scala or Java.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud architecture.
- Experience designing distributed, low-latency, scalable cloud solutions and processing large amounts of data at scale.
- Experience using AWS cloud services at scale and Terraform.
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle from inception through production and monitoring.
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field from a university where English is the primary language of instruction is strongly desired.
- Experience with container-based solutions, ZIO, Akka, and Play Framework is a plus.
- Advertising Attribution domain experience is a plus.
- Experience with agile software development processes and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
