Responsibilities
- Build and evolve core banking services for ledger operations and transactions.
- Modernize regional balance management systems into a unified, scalable global platform.
- Design and implement resilient distributed systems for high transaction volumes.
- Improve observability, test coverage, maintainability, and architectural patterns without disrupting live banking operations.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of ledger and transaction history systems.
- Collaborate with Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Infrastructure teams on reliable and compliant operations.
- Own services from design through production, including monitoring and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Solid backend experience building reliable, high-volume services with strong system design, API, data modeling, and service interaction skills.
- Proficiency in Golang and willingness to work with languages such as Kotlin or Elixir.
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and follow CI/CD best practices.
- Experience building, deploying, and operating services in cloud environments such as AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Fluency with relational databases that perform well under load and maintain data consistency.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across regions and teams.
- Interest in building reliable financial services and banking systems.
- PostgreSQL experience, including performance tuning, complex queries, or schema design, is a plus.
- Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka and observability tools such as Grafana or Honeycomb is a plus.
