Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer-facing web applications in a cross-functional product team.
- Build and own backend-for-frontend components that deliver dynamic, server-driven UI configurations.
- Design, launch, and iterate on A/B experiments and use customer insights to improve products.
- Design and develop efficient, scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to solve user problems and shape product experiences.
- Mentor team members and participate in the hiring process.
- Set team-wide standards and vision for responsible AI adoption and integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of AI technologies while maintaining quality, security, and governance standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Expertise in web application development using component-based frameworks.
- High proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience designing the architecture and deployment of web applications and services.
- Experience writing tests.
- Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder-management, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Mature judgment in selecting and applying AI tools while supporting team adoption.
- Preferred: backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Preferred: experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building, and event-based analytics.
- Preferred: knowledge of Node.js, Vue.js, or similar component-based frontend frameworks.
- Preferred: experience in e-commerce or startup environments.
