Responsibilities
- Design, build, and run backend services and API integrations with advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
- Build data workflows and automations that replace manual marketing processes.
- Create internal tools and reporting used by marketing teams.
- Test, monitor, and troubleshoot systems as volumes and use cases grow.
- Shape architecture and engineering standards, review code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Marketing and platform teams.
- Own software from design through production and remain accountable for its operation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, including OAuth2-based authentication.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience shipping software with containers, cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS, and CI/CD.
- Ability to write tested, maintainable code and take ownership of production software.
- Experience using AI tools in daily work and curiosity about practical AI applications.
- Strong ownership, business judgment, communication, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
