Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate and operate open source distributed data systems such as OpenSearch, VictoriaMetrics, Kafka, and Clickhouse.
- Implement features to improve the operability of services and design the next generations of metrics and logging.
- Guide other engineers on utilizing systems to ensure their services perform as expected.
Requirements
- Experience running and using distributed databases such as Opensearch, VictoriaMetrics, and Clickhouse.
- Experience with Kubernetes as both an end user and an operator.
- Proficiency in writing software in Golang, with knowledge of concurrency and distributed systems being a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
- Ability to work well in a geographically distributed team.
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
