Base Salary
$170k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, highly available AI platform infrastructure covering compute, storage, networking, security, enterprise integrations, Infrastructure as Code, multi-region HA/DR, and CI/CD.
- Design and implement multi-agent systems, agent logic, evaluation frameworks, prompt optimization, and deployment and operations workflows.
- Lead technical maturity assessments and infrastructure audits for enterprise customers.
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements, present technical recommendations, and guide implementation.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engagement Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in hands-on, customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect or Forward Deployed Engineer; candidates with unusual or founder backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
- 3+ years designing and deploying production infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong Kubernetes experience, including GKE, EKS, or AKS cluster design, autoscaling, and multi-zone deployments.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, GitOps practices, high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of relational databases and in-memory data stores, including replication, backups, high availability, and sizing.
- Understanding of networking, security controls such as SSO/RBAC, TLS, and secrets management, and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- 1+ year building production AI/ML applications or agents, with strong LangChain, LangGraph, or similar LLM framework experience.
- Experience with agent state management, AI evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering and A/B testing, vector stores, RAG patterns, knowledge organization, tool integration, API design, and error handling.
- Strong Python and/or TypeScript development skills.
- Enterprise customer-facing experience, technical assessment or infrastructure audit experience, strong communication, problem-solving, consultative, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
