Responsibilities
- Build and scale the Hilbert AI Portal used by enterprise operators.
- Develop streaming, multi-turn, and human-in-the-loop interfaces for AI agents.
- Build backend services and state management for agentic interactions with ML models.
- Create enterprise customization and packaging logic for cloud and private-infrastructure deployments without code changes.
- Develop internal tooling and admin panels for monitoring, tuning, and debugging models.
- Design API contracts, containerized systems, modular architectures, and shared libraries in an Nx monorepo.
- Collaborate with product managers and AI/ML engineers to connect model outputs with user actions.
- Co-build new products with design partners from initial concept through production.
Requirements
- Product-minded full-stack engineering experience with ownership of end-to-end user experiences.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Express, React, and MongoDB.
- Ability to design scalable systems, API contracts, containerized deployments, and modular architectures.
- Comfort working autonomously on ambiguous problems and rapidly delivering production-ready services.
- Experience with streaming, state management, LLM-powered chat, or agent interfaces is a bonus.
- Experience with Nx or similar monorepo tooling is a bonus.
- Experience building internal engineering tools is a bonus.
- Understanding of software security fundamentals and SOC 2 requirements is a bonus.
