Base Salary

$120k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and deploy software payloads on customer-bound hardware platforms and validate them in real-world conditions.
  • Work with users and stakeholders to deliver new behaviors, payload integrations, and emerging mission use cases.
  • Optimize autonomous vehicle performance by analyzing interactions among sensing, compute, controls, and other subsystems.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues and root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve problems.
  • Translate customer requirements into delivered autonomy capabilities with business development and engineering teams.
  • Develop production-quality software using sound design, testing, debugging, documentation, and code-maintenance practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, robotics, or a related field, or relevant experience and demonstrated skills.
  • Experience integrating software on hardware systems, including sensors, effectors, and compute platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in C or C++.
  • Experience with vehicle networks and diagnostics, including CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, FlexRay, UDS, and J1939, plus logging and trace tools.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
  • Ability to deliver production-quality software in a continuously integrated environment.
  • Experience working effectively on teams and proactively solving problems.
  • Preferred experience with robotics and autonomous systems, open architectures, safety-critical systems, Python, Java, ROS2, state machines, motion or path planning, JIRA, navigation, mapping algorithms, robot perception, real-time operating systems, embedded programming, and cross-functional software leadership.
  • The position may require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
