$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect the Capability Spec framework as the editable source of truth for generated OpenAPI schemas, Skill manifests, MCP tool definitions, and portal documentation.
- Drive consolidation of fragmented API surfaces into a composable, agent-ready Unified Fintech API.
- Build CI/CD enforcement including pull-request gates, validation rules, and drift detection to keep specifications, code, and documentation synchronized.
- Develop tooling that generates Functional and Integration Skills, MCP tools, and client SDKs from Capability Specs.
- Set technical direction across the Fintech API and Agent-Ready Enabler teams, mentor engineers, and influence architecture and roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep API design and distributed systems experience at scale.
- Demonstrated Staff-level or equivalent technical leadership across multiple teams.
- Strong background in API platforms, OpenAPI/REST design, schema-driven code generation, API lifecycle management, and developer portal tooling.
- Hands-on experience with MCP, LLM tool or function calling, or agentic developer platforms such as Claude or ChatGPT Actions.
- Experience building CI/CD systems, code-generation pipelines, or platform tooling that enforces contracts at scale.
- Familiarity with fintech domains such as payments, lending, payroll, or wallets and with safety or compliance requirements for agent-initiated financial actions is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align engineering, product, and compliance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
