Base Salary
$153k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain network datapath monitoring and observability infrastructure for GPU cloud services.
- Build high-fidelity visibility, real-time network telemetry, and fault-detection systems for host networking, smart NICs, and overlay/underlay networks.
- Collaborate with DevOps, production, and data platform engineers to integrate network datapath solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues for the operations team.
- Track network telemetry and monitoring technologies and improve networking infrastructure based on industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience focused on networking and network observability.
- Expertise in network protocols, routing, security, TCP/IP, BGP, and kernel networking, preferably in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Golang or Python for automation and scripting.
- Experience with software-defined networking and network virtualization technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes networking and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes operators and controllers.
