Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain resilient, reusable Android code using Kotlin, Java, Gradle, and Fastlane.
- Own engineering efforts from initial design through implementation while addressing performance, modularization, and developer workflow challenges.
- Partner with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements and wireframes into high-quality mobile experiences.
- Lead technical decisions, refactoring strategies, code quality, automated testing, and clean architecture practices.
- Optimize responsiveness, memory management, UI rendering, and application performance while resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
- Mentor engineers and establish best practices that improve mobile development standards and engineering velocity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing Android mobile applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Deep expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Java, Gradle, and Fastlane.
- Strong command of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, object-oriented programming, design patterns, MVVM, and MVI.
- Expertise with the Android SDK, Android Jetpack components, reactive programming, and dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt and Dagger.
- Experience with multithreading, offline storage strategies, responsive UI design across screen sizes, and application performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, open-source Android libraries, Git, and continuous integration pipelines.
