Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable native Android ad architectures using Kotlin and Java for interstitial, app open, rewarded video, native, and banner formats.
- Manage and optimize enterprise mediation stacks, especially AppLovin MAX and Google AdMob.
- Design caching, pre-fetching, and asynchronous loading flows to reduce latency, prevent ad drops, and improve show rates.
- Implement bidding logic, contextual engagement signals, code-level triggers, and dynamic refresh logic to improve programmatic competition and revenue.
- Integrate, test, and maintain third-party ad network SDKs, custom mediation adapters, and bidding partners.
- Monitor eCPM, ARPDAU, latency, impression depth, fill rate, and mediation errors, and troubleshoot revenue performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with Google Play developer policies, AdMob and AppLovin quality guidelines, consent frameworks, and invalid-traffic prevention rules.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional native Android development experience with Kotlin and Java.
- At least 5 years of dedicated technical experience with mobile ad networks and mediation platforms, specifically AppLovin MAX and Google AdMob.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining monetization layers for high-scale utility or casual Android applications.
- In-depth knowledge of programmatic in-app bidding, waterfall configurations, floor pricing, and real-time auction dynamics.
- Strong understanding of utility-app lifecycles, user flows, retention patterns, and effective ad placement timing.
- Ability to connect code architecture with advertising revenue performance and unit economics.
