Responsibilities
- Design secure, efficient, scalable, resilient, reliable, and compliant cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Design multi-tenant, geographically distributed hybrid-cloud solutions that meet data protection standards.
- Develop strategies and tools to deploy, monitor, and administer cloud applications and underlying services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams to implement reusable productized components and improve delivery velocity.
- Design, build, and productionize multi-tenant, global, scalable, and highly available software components.
- Research emerging technologies, evaluate tools, build proofs of concept, and write code to explore new solutions.
- Evaluate and enhance return on investment through experiments involving technologies and reusable components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or another relevant discipline.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in the architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed cloud applications.
- Expertise defining, designing, and developing distributed and scalable products and services, including reusable domain-specific microservices on multi-platform or hybrid clouds.
- Experience with software and product development lifecycle activities, including coding, code reviews, source control, testing, debugging, build, deployment, and operations.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React and Angular.js, along with SQL, XML, JSON, Linux, ELK Stack, Splunk, Solr, Git, Ant, Maven, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with data ingestion, analytics, and AI technologies.
