Responsibilities
- Translate vague business requirements into machine learning models for real-world problems.
- Conduct machine learning experiments using Python and machine learning libraries.
- Develop generative AI solutions and optimize ML systems for performance and scalability.
- Implement custom machine learning code and production-grade software.
- Build efficient data flows between databases and backend systems.
- Automate MLOps workflows, including testing, reproducibility, and feature and metadata storage.
- Design machine learning architectures using Google Cloud tools and services.
- Scope projects, lead engagements, build client relationships, and participate in client discussions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, preferably in consulting.
- Proficiency in Python as a backend language and experience delivering production-ready code.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Hands-on knowledge of foundational software engineering practices and well-tested production pipelines.
- Strong SQL knowledge for querying and managing data.
- Experience scaling computations with GPUs or distributed computing systems.
- Familiarity with exposing machine learning components through web services or wrappers such as Flask.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts.
- Scale-up experience and cloud certifications such as Google CDL or AWS Solution Architect are beneficial.
