Responsibilities

  • Lead client discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, use-case prioritization, ROI analysis, and product roadmap development for AI initiatives.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into product requirements documents, technical specifications, and prompt and evaluation criteria.
  • Rapidly prototype AI applications and evolve successful proofs of concept into reliable, secure, maintainable production systems.
  • Design and build single- and multi-agent systems, agent harnesses, control loops, tool use, state management, planning, delegation, and failure recovery.
  • Develop full-stack products spanning front-end experiences, backend services, APIs, data infrastructure, and cloud deployment.
  • Build retrieval, semantic and hybrid search, reranking, metadata filtering, grounding, and enterprise integrations.
  • Apply machine learning fundamentals, dataset preparation, fine-tuning, LoRA/PEFT, training pipelines, and model evaluation when appropriate.
  • Build evaluation, observability, telemetry, safety, moderation, PII handling, prompt-injection defense, permission-aware tooling, and fallback systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical product engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience building and deploying generative AI or LLM applications in production.
  • Expert proficiency in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals for real-time, interactive, and batch services.
  • Experience designing modern stateless and stateful services and working with REST, WebSockets, MCP, streaming APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with spec-driven AI development tools and agentic IDEs such as Cursor, Codex, and OpenCode.
  • Experience with AI orchestration, custom agent harnesses, retrieval systems, embedding search, hybrid retrieval, metadata filtering, reranking, and agentic search.
  • Solid experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
  • Ability to engage clients, facilitate discovery workshops, extract requirements, pitch technical solutions, and communicate with executive audiences.
  • Preferred experience includes enterprise AI/ML operations, consultant or client innovation environments, media and entertainment, multimodal media, and tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
