Responsibilities
- Support implementation of DevOps and SRE best practices across projects.
- Execute and make basic enhancements to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Assist with application deployments across development, test, and production environments.
- Monitor application availability, performance metrics, logs, and alerts using Azure Monitor and CloudWatch.
- Assist with troubleshooting, incident resolution, and identifying issues through metrics and logs.
- Support cloud resource management, environment setup, container-based deployments, and automation in Azure and AWS.
- Assist with Docker and Kubernetes deployments, including AKS/EKS exposure under guidance.
- Support IAM/RBAC access management, compliance checks, cloud security practices, auto-scaling, and resource optimization.
- Document processes, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or IT, including internships.
- Basic knowledge of Azure or AWS, with Azure preferred.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC, and Git version control.
- Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Basic understanding of Docker containers and awareness of Kubernetes concepts.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, willingness to learn, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.
- AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification is desirable.
- Exposure to AKS/EKS is preferred.
