Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, performant web applications using Angular or React and TypeScript.
- Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Migrate legacy applications to GCP and modernize codebases using current frameworks.
- Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy ML models and end-to-end ML pipelines using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Vertex AI.
- Integrate GenAI capabilities and agentic workflows into business applications.
- Build observability and telemetry through monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational and business metrics.
- Automate unit, integration, and performance testing and support CI/CD quality gates and code coverage.
- Work with GCP data services and cloud-based data pipelines for analytical and ML workloads.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and DevOps partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Angular or React, and TypeScript.
- Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP, including Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
- Hands-on Python experience for AI/ML development with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with microservices, REST API design, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with TDD, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Tekton, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
- Experience building observability solutions covering monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational and business metrics.
- Proficiency with GitHub and Infrastructure as Code concepts; Terraform experience is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/XP environments and strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes Generative AI or LLM applications, prompt engineering, agentic AI workflows, Vertex AI, AI Platform, Dataflow, dbt, Astronomer/Airflow, MLOps, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MongoDB, data modeling, Tekton, Terraform, and GCP professional certifications.
