Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and improve operational practices.
- Conduct code reviews and apply engineering, compliance, security, and development standards.
- Support software reliability, continuous improvement, and U.S. Bank’s technology transformation.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally a minimum of seven years of experience.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices and DevOps principles.
- Understanding of product features, user impact, team domains, business objectives, and technical strategy.
- Ability to collaborate across product development with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, vendors, and customers.
- Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and solution-definition skills.
