Responsibilities

  • Own pre-triaged, escalated customer issues and drive them through diagnosis and resolution.
  • Debug production and integration problems across frontend, backend, and data layers.
  • Identify root causes, implement durable fixes, communicate resolution plans, and document findings.
  • Design and implement roadmap features from requirements while estimating effort and collaborating with teammates.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives, and test-driven development.
  • Support product deployments, configuration, and post-release validation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience with ownership of complex features end-to-end.
  • Strong Java proficiency for designing, building, debugging, and owning Java-based services and features.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Strong PostgreSQL experience, including query writing, execution-plan analysis, and data-issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with queuing systems and API integrations such as Redis/Resque and JSON-based systems.
  • Ability to balance roadmap development with escalated issue resolution and work independently with distributed international teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include Ruby on Rails or comparable MVC framework experience, C++, GPS or mapping technology experience, cloud infrastructure and deployment pipeline experience, and supply chain or logistics software background.
